Quick French Onion Soup

Geia sas ladies, today is a really quick & easy French Onion soup recipe. If you don't have time to make delicious homemade French Onion this is a fast (& while i'll admit not quite as good as homemade) alternative.

So here are the ingredients you'll need; just 3 items!
1.Campbell's French Onion Soup in a can
2.your favorite croutons;(mine are Rothbury Farms: Seasoned)
3.a slice of Swiss cheese

In a small sauce pan heat the onion soup from the can to a boil. Note*the reason i say boil is because for some unknown reason i don't like this soup unless its been boiled. Once soup has come to a boil place desired amount of croutons in a bowl, i usually use about 6 or 7 of the small ones. Then pour the hot soup over them, followed by the slice of Swiss on top & the heat will cause the cheese to melt.

These croutons are great because they give off some of their own spices into the soup that is really yummy. Another thing about these croutons is they are really cheap because the dollar store near us just started carrying them, we were very happy to see that! Now like i said this is nothing compared to my homemade French Onion, but if you don't have much time it's a good thing to have. Also i will post my homemade French Onion next time i make it, its to die for. :)

My boys were so cute cute sleeping exactly the same, too adorable! (left-Louie,right-Buckley)
