B-day Shopping Haul & stuff
Geia sas lovely ladies! Well a few days later i am finally posting my birthday shopping haul. I was actually surprised at how little i found at the mall (besides Sephora of course, i could go broke there lol). I was happy to cross TWO items off my wishlist! So to start off with Sephora, i bought an Urban Decay eyeshadow color (Honey) that i've been wanting ever since watching THIS youtube video [of course i love it, its ancient Egyptian! :) ].
So i bought it for $18, which is a crazy price yes but i doubt i'll have to buy it again for like 20yrs so i think i'm good lol. I have always had an obsession with gold so this is no surprise to me that i had to have this. Also the packaging is cute.
Next up another Urban Decay, Primer Potion in Eden; which is a matte nude color as its described. This is my 1st time ever buying a eyeshadow primer & it was $18, though i do have a sample of Two-Faced Shadow Insurance. I like Eden so far the only thing i wish was that its color was a bit darker so match my skin a little better; since i generally only use a little eyeshadow. Nothing worse than ghosty eyes! Which is another thing, i also hate when i see girls/women with white eyeshadow on or pale blue even, it makes them all ghostly/washed-out looking & i just wish i could tell them that without sounding mean lol.
But anyhoo...now onto my Forever21 items: 1st up we have these adorable ballerina flats. Which i am in love with!$14.50, a little pricey for F21 i thought but since they are wonderful i ignored that fact.
...Oh so cute!
Forever21's jewelry is always so cheap these were just $3.50 & i havta love that! But its also cheaply made, its true you get what you pay for on this one. You can't expect these things to last, but you can enjoy em while you have em! And hey an advantage of them being cheaply made is they are very light-weight!
Here is my favorite one, this one unfortunately was $12.50, even though its twice as thin as the others but go figure. I love love love the rose & i paired it with the pink tank from above.
This week i also found out i will have to get my wisdom teeth removed, one of them is really starting to cause me pain & a dentist previously told me i would need them out because they will mess up my straight teeth; ahhhh!!! Has anyone had them out already? I'm kinda nervous about it, i heard it hurts really horrible after & that the gas they knock you out with is like a truth serum & makes you tell your secrets haha. I don't know about that but i'm still nervous i've never been unconscious before & it kinda terrifies me not to be in control of myself...
Then in the morning is Portugal & my Cristiano's 1st game of the World Cup...kali epitixia(good luck) Cristiano mou!
Also may i point out how great his back looks here lol, i totally think guys backs are really sexy(in shape of course lol) you can see his muscles & i'm drooling haha okay i'm done grossing you guys out, unless of course you agree with me LOL.
Talk to you guys soon i have lots more posts i have to get around to!

Klorane Dry Shampoo Review
Geia sas ladies! What a beautiful day it is today! Unfortunately i have been sick lately but i am slowly recovering. Oh & i also want to say a big hello to my new followers! I can't believe i have 25 now! If anyone ever has any requests, i'm all ears!
Well today i'm reviewing the Klorane dry shampoo with oat milk. By now most people have heard of dry shampoo & there are more & more brands but it’s the same concept; absorbing the oil. It’s obviously not something you would use on a daily basis or something you could substitute for washing in the shower but it is great for when you have no time & need to wash your hair.
For example my hair naturally has a lot of wave & is long & thick, so when i straighten my hair i want it to last a while since it takes so long to do. So i would use this if i washed my hair on Wed. night but Friday i didn't want to wash it before going somewhere.
I bought it HERE at Sephora for $18. So let's see what Sephora has to say about it:
What it is:
A dry shampoo with an aerosol pump dispenser.
What it does: Lets you clean hair without water. This dry shampoo is based on softening, protective oat extract, cyclodextrins, and natural polysaccharides (micronised powders with very oil-absorbing properties) to clean the hair without washing, as often as required. The hair regains volume and lightness within minutes.
So you get the basic idea, for more info go to the Sephora link.
Directions:
1.So you shake the can & spray it on your roots & oily areas like the crown. (for us brunettes don't worry about the white color on your dark hair it will go away)
2.Next you let is sit for 2mins to absorb the oil.
3.Then you take a hair brush & run it through spreading it out & blending it in. I also used a comb which worked well.
Now for my review, 1st i think this product is too expensive for how small it is, however it does work well. The smell is ok, i wouldn't say it’s a good smell but it’s not too bad either & not overpowering. Next time i buy a dry shampoo i will look for something cheaper, but again i do think it’s a good product just a little pricey for its size. But it really is a nice little tool to have in your collection.
(product was purchased with my own $$ & im not affiliated w/ the company)
My Louie, he's the cutest! Though i'm pretty biased. lol

Praying For Pimples

Lately, I've been praying for a pimple. Sounds odd, I know. But ironically, ever since I got my hands on Zeno, my skin has been uncharacteristically clear. So last week when a monster zit erupted on my chin, I was excited. Finally I would see if Zeno lived up to the hype.
Zeno is a hand-held battery-operated device designed with a tip that heats to a pre-set temperature. The tip is designed for direct contact with a blemish on the skin. Once in contact with a blemish, the tip transfers heat into the follicle – killing the bacteria, reducing inflammation, and allowing the skin to return to a healthy state. For someone like me, who has a problem with hyperpigmentation (resulting from acne), Zeno is a godsend. It literally zaps zits before they have a chance to erupt - therefore thwarting dark marks.
Please note that Zeno isn’t a magic wand. You have to be diligent about using it, in order to see a difference. Acne doesn't just miraculously disappear after one treatment; it takes two to three 2½-minute treatments spread over 24 hours to get rid of pesky pimples. Another bonus is that Zeno doesn’t have the nasty side effects (dryness, irritation, sensitivity to sunlight) that accompany most topical acne treatments.
Available at Sephora and myzeno.com.

VIG (Very Important Gloss)

A few weeks ago, I blogged about mood-changing lip glosses and recommended purchasing Too Faced Mood Swing over Smashbox O-Gloss; my reasoning was that they were essentially the same product and Mood Swing costs less. Well, I take it back. I take it all back.
Yesterday, I received a tube of O-Gloss in the mail (courtesy of Allure Experts) – and I am deeply in love with this gloss. The moment the clear gel hit my lips, it morphed into the most flattering shade of pink...I was very impressed. Rich in antioxidants and botanicals, this non-tacky gloss moisturizes with avocado oil.
O-Gloss has already become a staple in my makeup bag.
Available at Smahbox.com and Sephora.

The Bluest Eye
She was gracious enough to let me test them out; and I was so amazed by how beautifully bright my eyes looked that - at 7:30pm - I ran out to Sephora to buy my own.Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide on Pencil is a creamy liner that effortlessly glides over your lid. The color is blendable for the first 30 seconds, then dries to a long-lasting finish that lasts all day and all night. Available in twelve shades, these pencils can be used for a hint of color – or more liberally, for a theatrical effect.
Sephora Waterproof Mascara is perfect for mascara lovers who hate smudges and smears. It’s a little on the dry side, but I can’t deny how it makes my eyes POP when paired with the aforementioned liner. Plus, it’s only $10 – so you can justify buying vibrant turquoise mascara.

The Wait Is Over: Calvin Klein Beauty at Sephora.com

Calvin Klein’s new beauty line is now available at Sephora.com. These color cosmetics for the face, eyes, lips, and nails are priced between $10 and $32.
From the looks of the Calvin Klein Beauty page on Sephora, I wasn’t the only one anxiously awaiting its arrival. Many colors are already listed as “temporarily out of stock” – which could mean Sephora is still waiting on shipments, or some over-enthusiastic beauty junkies are giving their credit cards a workout.
Unluckily for me, the Delicious Luxury Crème Lipstick in Fusion (I fell in love with this bold fuchsia/red shade after seeing it in January’s Allure magazine) is nowhere to be found on the website.* This alluring hue (see, left) is simply stunning - so I'm determined to hunt it down. You know what they say about nothing good coming easy.*If you happen to locate a tube of Fusion, please email me. I'm serious.

Guest Post: Philosophy Kiss Me Lip Balm

Kim Stanley* writes:
No matter what I do, my lips become dry and chapped during the winter months. However, I have found a product that alleviates both problems. Although the company is not new to beauty junkies, Philosophy is better known for products such as Hope in a Jar. Kiss Me is a very emollient lip balm that delivers on its promise to leave your lips well-moisturized.
Lipsticks and lip glosses look best on lips that are smooth and well hydrated without cracked or peeling skin. If you want to fully appreciate the ultimate lip care experience you should use an exfoliant first and follow up with a super moisturizing product to protect and heal your lips because lips can not maintain moisture. A good lip exfoliant to try is Laura Geller Lip Strip.
I put Kiss Me to the test during the busy Christmas season while cashiering, for 9 hour shifts, at Sephora. On average, I applied the lip balm approximately three times during these long hours of talking, eating and drinking but not more than 4 times in a 24-hour period.
The one caveat of this product, but its performance is not affected, is that it reacts to hot and cold temperatures. The tube will harden if left in the cold and will soften during the warmer months.
Philosophy’s Kiss Me offered the best of all worlds because it had a natural shine, moisturized, tasted like citrus, and was long-lasting. I purchased the lip balm by Philosophy in Kiss Me Red, but it is available in clear and pink shades as well. I love this stuff!
