Lush Friday

Yesterday my sister and I went to the mall & to her school to buy books, since she is starting her first day of college ever on Tuesday.

We both are obsessed with Lush, so a stop there was necessary...& of course as any Lush lover knows; you can never leave there spending under $30. Sadly it will never happen. (They should start coupons!)

I went knowing I wanted a face mask, but I have trouble using them since they don't last long. Well the girl there found me the Mask of Magnaminty that is good for acne-prone skin too, & as the title would suggest; minty. It tingles somewhat on your face too.

While using the mask I snapped a shot of the flower I also picked up at Forever21, I love the color; $2.80.

I look kinda mad haha (I wasn't!)

But back at Lush I also spotted the Almond & Coconut Smoothie, another I have heard good things about.

The sales girl recommended it for shaving, because with water its not too thick but very moisturizing.

We then ended with P.F.Chang's orange peel chicken & crab wontons..yum!

I love spending time with my younger sister, all this just makes it that much more enjoyable :)

 i ordered this stuff from E.l.f. on my 2nd to last order.

Blush in Pink Passion & Peachy Keen, i like both.

E.l.f. lipstick in Pink Runway, MAC lipstick in Pink Nouveau(from ebay), and E.l.f. in Prime Plum.

Runway Pink i love.

Pink Nouveau i like.

Prime Plum i am so dissappointed in its not the color it showed or should be.

E.l.f. shimmer eyeliner pencil in Boldly Bronzed, i like this pencil though it doesn't work the greatest on the lower waterline.

Lulu's!

I recently found the Lulu's website.
I found a lot of things i liked, namely dresses but i did not like the fact that they were all up to your butt!...now i like showing a little leg but you can't even sit or walk in many of those without flashing the whole county.
Anyway my advice to Lulu's is add an inch or 2 to your dresses.
But now for what i actually bought...

This over-sized T was $26 though i noticed it went up a dollar since then, is called 'If Wishes Were Horses'.

Now since everyone knows i'm kinda crazy about horses (its in my blood) this was a natural fit for me, though it is over-sized i wish it was a little bit less wide.

 Then i bought these shoes the tan were $25 & the pinky-mauve color were $31. I love them but my only complaint would be Lulu's runs out of all the most common sizes (7-8) so fast, so with the tan i had to get an 8 1/2 because that's all they had & i really needed these shoes according to the saying "Life's short, buy the shoes." which by the way is always the right answer lol. So they are a little big but nothing a little toilet paper in the toe can't fix.
(The other pair is a 7 btw)

Sleek Nail Polish Review/Jewelry Haul

So anyway onto Sleek's nail polish in Turquoise,

First off its a beautiful color i definitely am hooked.

I have 1 negative is that it does chip a lot. :(

It was about $8 on ebay.

These two rings i bought at Charlotte Russe, in a 2 for $8 deal.

I thought the turquoise went great together! I love it its very Native American.

The bow is so darn cute i just couldn't put it down; so feminine, pretty, & delicate.

Isn't it adorable!?!

I'm very happy with them & for such a good price too!

Shopping Trip Haul

So a few weeks ago I was at the mall with my mom, sister, and cousin for a little(all-day) shopping trip that included a stop at the amazing Cheesecake Factory! Here's what i got that day:

Clearly i was liking the bows lol, the blazer is flared at the front which adds a nice feminine touch to a plain blazer. Both are from Charlotte Russe.

At the Cheesecake Factory i got Evelyn's Pasta which is my favorite & the Godiva cheesecake yummmm.

e.l.f. Haul/Review

I recently bought some fabulous products from e.l.f. so i'll be showing them with a short review.

Let me show you:

Here we have

1. Brightening Eye Color in Butternut

4. Cream Eyeliner in Ivory

I really like the colors that came in the eyeshadow quad, they compliment each other well & for only $1!

I love the Pink Kiss color its a very nice gloss. Again $1, amazing!

The facial whip was a free gift so i wouldn't have picked it out but its a nice shimmering blush or blush base.

The cream eyeliner was a free gift as well & not a color i would even buy, but it works as a highlight.

1. Nail Polish in Punk Purple

2. Mineral Lipstick in Natural Nymph

3. Mineral Booster Powder in Tinted

I love the nail polish, you can't beat it for $1, Punk Purple is a great color i get complimented on it a lot. Its not even really purple, its like a magenta mixed with a maroon color; very pretty & perfect for fall/winter.

Natural Nymph is my new favorite lipstick, i love it!! Its the perfect lipstick under any gloss.($5)

The face powder is nice but i was expecting more out of it, its just ok, i use it control the oil in my 'T zone'. ($5)

And finally, Mineral Eyeshadow in Enchanting (Matte)

This a the perfect everyday eyeshadow for me, its matte & natural looking. ($3)

I was smart & bought my products on the free shipping day, because as i've said before the only thing i don't like about e.l.f. is their shipping prices suck!

Health Food Store Shopping Trip

Geia sas everyone, so i made a trip to my local health food store with my mom & here's what we picked up;

1. lentils

2. fresh baguette

3. roasted red pepper hummus

4. Kashi TLC fire roasted veggie crackers

5. Near East rice pilaf lentil

6.sunflower oil

7.sunflower butter

8. Puffins cereal

9.french onion seasoning

10.Almond Breeze chocolate

The crackers & hummus was good, but i make better hummus. It was good for an on the run snack.

The sunflower oil is used in our lentil salad, recipe coming soon.

I love chocolate almond milk, but i have to say i was very disappointed in Almond Breeze's, it was watery, very light colored, & had no taste whatsoever. I contacted them to let them know i was disappointed, as this was not a cheap item.

By far my favorite thing! I tried this on a whim, i love coconut & chocolate so i figured why not. I'm so happy i did, this was amazing; SO Delicious' cultured Coconut Milk in Chocolate. I was expecting a yogurt-like consistency, it was thinner & lighter than yogurt & very refreshing; just perfect! The only thing i dislike about this is that it has 7 grams of fat; boo! However, I will buy this again for sure!

And on a slightly funny, unrelated note, i had an appointment yesterday & when i went in i showed the woman my new tattoo & she said, "Oh that's an Angelina Jolie tattoo" LOL i just said really i wouldn't have thought of that but ok lol.

Fashion Update: New Tops!

Geia sas my dears! Yesterday i went to Marshall's with my mom & she bought me two tops that i really like. I was just having a really bad day & the shorts i had on had a hole in em & i was blahhhh & felt very unsociable so my moms like "Let's just run into Marshall's & do a little shopping", soo we did & i felt a little better after. I love my mom!

This top i thought was really interesting but totally something i would wear, my favorite part is that its connected near the bottom. I also really liked the cowl neck. By the way the stripes are actually blue but they look black here. It was $9.99.

This one i really like because of the sort of abstract design(its a little rocker) on it as well as the color. I like that its thin material (practically see through) for this hot weather.

Here's an up-close, it was $12.99 as you can kinda see from the tag.

I'd say my sense of style is a range of things, but that's what i really love; an eclectic mix of stuff.

Newest Additions to My Closet

GEIA SAS ladies!! Its great to be back & feeling so much better! I've been doing some behind the scenes work on my blog lately though so its not been a total loss. Well i have a 'mini haul' of sorts today from Kohl's Department store.

My generous yiayia(grandma) bought this lovely dress for me yesterday. Its a really classy look & i feel very mature & empowered in it lol ; which is always a good thing. :] It fits a little lose but i know the top part is suppose to.

Next she also bought me shoes but this was because on the way into the store mine broke, yes broke, i was wearing flip-flops that fell apart in the parking lot, lol not the best place to happen.

These were $15 i believe & i really loved the braid across the shoe. They are really cute & can be either dressy or casual.

Close up, they are like a bronzish silver mix but in the pictures they look just silver.

So on a completely different subject Cristiano Ronaldo announced he has a son who was born in June & that he will be raising the child alone with the help of his mother & the baby's mother wishes to remain anonymous. I thought that was weird & maybe she was like some drunken groupy or something but then i saw a report that she was a surrogate from the US & he paid her to have a baby. Which seems weird for a 25yr old male but it also seems very weird that a mother would just leave her baby like that & its clearly not a $$ issue because she would get major child support...so maybe the surrogate thing is true. Who knows. But anyhow congratulations Cristiano mou i hope he looks just like you & plays just as well! Best of luck!
