Mini vaca. & Strawberry Picking

Geia sas ladies i'm back! So Wednesday my family & i went to visit my uncle who lives kind of far away from us (across the state) & we made a mini vacation out of it. And I got some great pictures out of this trip.

Back in June we actually went strawberry picking but i never got a chance to post about it so here are the berries we picked.

Yummm don't those just make your mouth water?! I find that when you pick strawberries vs store bought, the fresh are so much sweeter. I could & did literally eat a million of these!

Newest Additions to My Closet

GEIA SAS ladies!! Its great to be back & feeling so much better! I've been doing some behind the scenes work on my blog lately though so its not been a total loss. Well i have a 'mini haul' of sorts today from Kohl's Department store.

My generous yiayia(grandma) bought this lovely dress for me yesterday. Its a really classy look & i feel very mature & empowered in it lol ; which is always a good thing. :] It fits a little lose but i know the top part is suppose to.

Next she also bought me shoes but this was because on the way into the store mine broke, yes broke, i was wearing flip-flops that fell apart in the parking lot, lol not the best place to happen.

These were $15 i believe & i really loved the braid across the shoe. They are really cute & can be either dressy or casual.

Close up, they are like a bronzish silver mix but in the pictures they look just silver.

So on a completely different subject Cristiano Ronaldo announced he has a son who was born in June & that he will be raising the child alone with the help of his mother & the baby's mother wishes to remain anonymous. I thought that was weird & maybe she was like some drunken groupy or something but then i saw a report that she was a surrogate from the US & he paid her to have a baby. Which seems weird for a 25yr old male but it also seems very weird that a mother would just leave her baby like that & its clearly not a $$ issue because she would get major child support...so maybe the surrogate thing is true. Who knows. But anyhow congratulations Cristiano mou i hope he looks just like you & plays just as well! Best of luck!

How I'm Surviving After Surgery

Geia sas everyone, i'm currently laying on the couch with an ice pack on my 'chipmunk cheeks' & getting pretty tired of my liquid diet but i thought i'd share what i've been eating drinking since my teeth surgery.

Slim fast has been 2 meals a day.

Muscle Milk is my pill taking drink of choice.

Today i actually had something a bit thicker; yogurt. It was pretty hard to eat because i can't open my mouth very far. Is anyone noticing a pattern here..everything has been chocolate lol, but i've been trying to eat/drink stuff with higher protein. Though i'm still feeling weak even with the protein.

Here is a basically an overview of what happened with my teeth: I remember after getting the i.v. the dentist telling me to try to keep my eyes open as long as i could. I don't remember falling asleep but when i woke up they were still finishing up the stitches & i told them i was awake & they said 'no talking' because i don't think they believed me. So later after i took Vicodin it got me really sick obviously its a bad thing to throw up right after the surgery so i had to go to the hospital & get a SECOND i.v. & after 3 doses of anti-nausea meds and 3 doses of oxycodone i finally felt better & went home at 12:30am. So its been a long & painful process, i'm just hoping to feel better soon.
