Got TINte In Pocket

I’ve finally found a use for that useless coin pocket on the front of your jeans. Turns out it’s the perfect way to keep my TINte* Moisturizing Lip Color on me at all times, right where it belongs.
Inspired by the creator’s first gloss encounter, this lip color is packaged in a retro slider tin; but the Shea butter and vitamin infused formula keeps it modern – and non-sticky.
TINte Moisturizing Lip Color is the ideal product for those days when you want to wear gloss, but your lips are begging for a balm.
Fergie fancies Peaches & Cream, while Sarah Jessica Parker prefers Cream Soda. Reese Witherspoon, Drew Barrymore, and I favor the Peppermint flavor.
* TINte products are tested on boys, never animals.

Brown Sugar, How Come You Taste So Good?
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that lipstick is back in a big way. So, for those of you who intend to embrace this trend, please note that you can’t just jump in head-first.Before you even think about twisting up that new tube of lipstick, you need to think about those flaky lips that have been hiding beneath your gloss for the last couple of months. Oh, the horror!
If you’re in dire need of a pucker-perfecting product, look no further than The Lip Scrub. Created by a fellow beauty addict, Sara Happ (left), this sugar-based exfoliant acts like a lip loofah and leaves your pout kissably soft.In 2005, frustrated by the lack of lip smoothers on the market, Happ transformed her kitchen into a laboratory and got to work.
“I kept reading ‘exfoliate lips with a wet washcloth or a baby toothbrush’ in all of my magazines, and I thought there had to be a better way. So I made it myself,” she explains.
Today, Ashlee Simpson, Charlize Theron, Kate Moss, and Reese Witherspoon are reported fans. The Lip Scrub comes in six lip-smacking flavors: Almond Crème, Brown Sugar (my fav), Cinnamon Sugar, Cocoa, Peppermint, and Vanilla Bean.
Happ’s clever concoction is now available in over 200 luxury boutiques throughout the United States and Canada, and is distributed in more than 20 countries, including the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Germany. You can purchase yours online at thelipscrub.com.
Sara - you’ve come a long way, baby!

Southern Belle
Don’t get me wrong…as a newlywed, I am a firm believer in the institution of marriage. But looking at these pics of Reese Witherspoon, I think to myself, “Damn, divorce never looked so good.”In the October issue of Elle, Reese opens up about her break-up with husband Ryan Phillippe:
“Right around Christmas-time I was sitting in a parking lot and I felt like I just couldn’t get out of the car. It was like, I can’t get out of the car. And I thought, Okay, half of the parking lot has dealt with this [a break-up]. More than half of the parking lot has dealt with this. Okay, let’s make it a little bigger. Half of this city has dealt with this. Okay, let’s make it a little bigger-half of this country, until I finally got out of the car. It was like, it’s okay. It’s okay. There’s this moment in Walk the Line where June Carter says, ‘I was never aware of how much I was seen.’ I was very aware of how much I was seen. It was this moment of self-discovery and loss of identity and who was stepping out of the car-you know? Who is that person? Should I not be this honest?”Reese has handled their public parting with grace and poise, and has never looked better. If Elle’s October photo shoot is any indication – franky, Ryan, she doesn’t give a damn.
The October issue of Elle is on newsstands September 18th.
