Love Theme from Halloween (R.I.P. Patrick Flynn 1961-2009)
My very best friend Patrick Flynn passed away on May 20th, and as John Carpenter's Halloween was one of his favorite movies, I thought I'd write these bad-taste lyrics for Carpenter's eerie electronic theme for the movie. Faking It
It’s the weekend before Halloween, which means that many of you will be attending a costume party in the next few days. So whether you decide to dress up as a sexy fill-in-the-blank, or choose to go as a sexier version of yourself – your best accessory is a pair of killer lashes!
The November issue of In Style explains how to choose the right fake lashes:
If you want a subtle effect, wear short lashes, which you can buy or customize by trimming a standard pair. Or opt for a small cluster (three hairs) and apply it only to the outside corner or center of the eye. MAC Cosmetics is getting into the spirit of Halloween by doing what it does best – making up faces. More than five hundred MAC artists, from around the world, submitted their most creative makeup looks.
The cosmetics brand chose the top 25 face charts for Halloween - from gruesome to ghoulishly girly - and is highlighting them at Maccosmetics.com and at MAC counters. Customers can purchase the products to achieve the look, or take a copy of the face they like to a MAC store for a makeup artist to apply.
