My painting The Brief Glimpse tattooed by Sarah Miller onto Kylee McWhinney.
It turned out looking great! :)

Inspiration

Geia sas! I just wanted to take 30 seconds to talk about inspiration & how great it is!
I love looking at other people's blogs or websites, books, TV, & places like that to draw inspiration for my life. For example there are some great sites for help keeping me on a healthy eating track with fresh ideas & recipes. Everybody needs inspiration, it kinda keeps us going. Its amazing because you never know where it will come from, it could be just a painting you saw in your doctors office that inspired you to decorate your bedroom or make an outfit inspired by it.

I just love when the creative juices start flowing & your create an awesome outfit around a piece of jewelry. Or it could even be someones words were up-lifting to you & they inspired you to go on & feel better about yourself. Inspiration is empowering & i just hope that i could inspire someone through my blog the way others have inspired me.

Kalo Savatokyriako!
(Happy Weekend)

My Movie Poster Collection: N

Remember that you can always click on the images themselves to see them (hopefully) larger:NASHVILLE (1975). Folded, Style A, GA fine Robert Altman poster (only the M.A.S.H. and McCabe and Mrs. Miller one-sheets best it), for arguably the greatest film on his resume. I like that it's not packed with movie stars--or even any credits--and that it's kind of a call back to the M.A.S.H. ad--that

My Movie Poster Collection: O-P

Remember that you can always click on the images themselves to see them (hopefully) larger:THE ODD COUPLE / ROSEMARY'S BABY double feature (1968). Folded, VGThis is a real relic of past times, when studios used to pair up hit movies at the end of their run as double features. I once had a double feature poster of Vanishing Point and Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry. That one made sense, since they were

My Movie Poster Collection: Q-R

Remember that you can always click on the images themselves to see them (hopefully) larger:Q (1982). Folded, VGAn A-list poster for a top B-movie, courtesy of the late and legendary illustrator Frank Frazetta. Larry Cohen's monster movie is, as is the filmmaker's modus operandi, a witty dissection of societal malaise, here taking on the worship of strange gods. Michael Moriarty gives a adroit

Egyptian Perfume Bottles/Vases

Geia sas, so i thought i would show my Egyptian perfume bottles & vase.
My love of Egyptian things lead me to them.

Right now they are sitting on my desk.

This one is hand-blown glass & my mom bought it for me from a little Egyptian store. The top comes out & is like a stick, which is how you'd apply the perfume.
That same day she also bought me perfume oil for it called Queen of Egypt, which smells very pretty somewhat like jasmine. But i never put it in the bottle just because i didn't want anything to happen to it so i left the perfume oil in its roll-on tube.

This perfume vessel & vase i thought were so beautiful, so i bought them. The top comes out on the perfume bottle also. They are both even more fragile than my little bottle & could break quite easily. They add that 'world traveled' look to a house's decor that i really like. I hope to have a better place to display them when i have more time & money.
